As I started to figure out what my resolutions should be I also started thinking about what makes me comfortable with who I am. It is rare to come across someone who is completely comfortable in their own skin. Those people tend to stand out. They have figured out what their strengths are and more importantly what their weaknesses are. Curiosity is built into them. They help the people around them become the best they can. I enjoy the process of setting up goals. For my resolutions I try to set goals in many different areas of my life. Part of my goals for this year is to focus on things I know make me a healthier person. Some things are just concepts or ideas to focus on throughout the year and some are a bit more tangible.

  • Living my Faith
  • Wake up early
  • Knowing that any struggle I face someone else is also facing it. I am not alone in my struggles
  • Character is built through conflict
  • Taking care of the little stuff in life makes the big stuff easier
  • Life is messy
  • 50 years from now you will never know the difference
  • Forgiving
  • Learn something from every person you meet
  • Shut up and listen
  • Everyone deserves respect
  • Complain less and give more praise
